Old Market Eatery Expands Prep Kitchen
Creating a usable restaurant space out of the design of a 1950’s bank has always been a challenge. After all….the building was meant to be a bank.
For nearly a decade the Old Market restaurant has served weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate functions, and regular daily traffic all with a kitchen space the size of a bathroom.
Due to lack of space, food would be prepped downstairs and brought up. Downstairs offers similar challenges, but more space has always been desired.
Recently, demolition of two nonfunctional bathrooms and storage rooms created an opportunity for the kitchen prep space to be expanded. This allows for the Old Market to prep more food and be more efficient in their daily food service.
This and many more changes are all taking place to help increase the productivity of our tenants and their businesses.
